The Iron Throne has weakened ever since the disappearance of the last dragon. With the symbols of their house gone, the Targaryens no longer wield fire and blood as fiercely as they once did. During the reign of the previous king, the house was often the butt of many jokes, but then.. it was *still* a peaceful time. In the wake of King Baelon I Targaryen’s death though, the realm has fractured into pieces. What should have been a continuance of the dynasty in his should-be son and heir diverged into a civil war.

On one end is the Baelon’s eldest son, unpopular dark-haired Viserys, never disinherited, but rumored to be of disputed birth. On the other hand is the late king’s second son, charming Vaenys of unquestionable descent, a classic mirror of the house’s signature dragonlord look. It is in these two that the realm has been plunged into a war, one that may prove to be incredibly deadly.

Yet that is not the only trouble threatening to overturn the Seven Kingdoms. Dorne has once again declared independence, the Iron Islands have broken away from the union, and conflict breaks out in every corner of the realm.

One hundred and seventeen years after Aegon's Conquest, King Baelon I Targaryen sits the Iron Throne as the 5th Targaryen King. Riding off the high of the previous king, the Seven Kingdoms is in its golden era. The realm is largely at peace and little seems amiss on the surface. That is until you look deeper. Beneath the current, trouble brews.

First, it comes in the form of Baelon's sons. With the parentage of his eldest son disputed and an ambitious second son, the future of the realm seems unstable as if it's destined for a civil war. And yet that alone isn't the only trouble that's threatening to overturn the Seven Kingdoms...
