*A XIXth century revolutionary "Scramble for Africa" game*

*O, What a Commune* is a roleplaying game set in the 1880s Angola-Congo region following the turmoil of a fictional colonial war. Take on the roles of an explorer, a freedom fighter, an officer, a politician, or whatever may catch your eye as you seek to either exploit or leave a mark on the West African bush!

We present a range of factions to choose from and aid, either on the battlefield or in leadership. 3 European factions (two of which at war), 3 Indigenous factions, and most novel, a revolutionary faction (within which lies the eponymous communes that players may directly shape)!

A personal character and dice roll system allows for customization, scheming and private investment so that you are not limited in what you may do and can freely diverge in favor of your own goals or storylines.

### What you can expect:
- Very involved command of the military, centered around companies and platoons;
- Overarching plotlines and events for players' characters to take part in;
- Political intrigue concerning colonial government and exploitation;
- A man in a hole (that you should not find) and possible gate to hell.

### What we are looking for:
- Players interested in taking command of the field as per typical Kriegsspiel expectations, though altered for convenience;
- Players interested in roleplaying out stories, both major as well as personal, in this seldom-used world setting;
- Players interested in having a taste of the world of colonial exploitation and the cultures indigenous to this realm;
- Players interested in taking a more adventurous route and seeing what neverbeforeseen secrets of Africa they may discover.

✰ The universe this server primarily takes place in is actually an ever expanding pocket universe of sorts! It's an area where everyone any universe can enter and meet, some even choose to live there.

✰ Unfortunately due to the opening of portals to other universes, it has unlocked dangers. Some universes do get attacked, some by a group that seeks to destroy the universes, others that attack are unknown creatures that scientists are struggling to understand.

✰ During character creation, you get the choice of joining one of two groups; The Divers who seek to protect the multiverse from dangers, or The Ravagers who seek to destroy multiverses.
