1700 Tensions between nations have been forced into temporary stability due to the lethal shift of their world. The contamination zone. It's controlled in Zenoia, but that doesn't make it any less formidable. People who wander into the abyss are rarely the same. Infected people die within six months, or transform into monsters. Black ooze infects the waters, the land tainted by its corruption. For now, it's controlled. The possibility of it spreading is an unfortunate reality the nations must face.

For the first time in 2,500 years, the nations of Elysium flourish, rising from the ruins of a fallen civilization. Nations declare both peace and hostility, vying for dominance and influence. People unite, sometimes for a common cause, other times out of mere convenience. Necessity often turns enemies into reluctant allies- if fate permits.
