The year is 1996 in a quiet plane named Hargrove—an isolated, rural town in northeast Oklahoma—known best for its ability to disappear from the world and from history, not excluding its own citizens. The world spins and, so too, does Hargrove . . . but beneath the finality of the world and government, all have conclusively decided it was best Hargrove remained in the old tablets and maps of history.

It wasn't always this way. Beloved Hargrove was founded on the precipice of innovation and promised future. Our renowned Mayor Hargrove turned a desolate wasteland of barren earth and tree into a place of solace, a home. Built upon brash stone and cruel earth, the task was no easy feat. With immense effort and delicate care, Mayor Hargrove raised a town worthy of the most impeccable men. It wasn't long until Hargrove became a major national center of lead and zinc mining, shortly after major deposits were found beneath the sullen earth of Hargrove. Founded in the 1930's, Hargrove had always held a soft-spot in the very hearts of our government, promising generational benefits to our cause and burden. . . All was perfect in our humble town.

Hundreds upon thousands of citizens and babes have born and died in the swallowing embrace of Hargrove. Men are raised from dirt and grime—only to return to ash and stone. This is our way, our path—no matter how solemn it may be. We work and die for our town, for our Hargrove.

Long ago the remnants of the four clans, along with some loners and kitty pets, traveled out of the forest for reasons lost to time, instead finding a beach inhabited by strange feline like creatures. The shiver (The Eternity of a Shark’s Hunt) decided not to turn this group away, instead letting them stay on this beach while they remained in the sea and even began teaching them about their deities.

Now present day, the former clan cats have created their flock (The Wings of a Free Albatross) and have settled in well in their new place, even gaining wings as a gift from their deity, Vagdon. However tensions are high as the flock feels jealous of the shiver’s territory and no lack of prey while the shiver is jealous of the flock’s lack of any real predators. What will happen when one day they awake to find their sacred and beloved albatrosses and sharks missing or deceased?
