What lies beneath the Earth isn't the layers you'd been taught, not in it's entirety. For beneath lies an empire called Eleutheri, followers of the Mold Mother, Glomerorum. A sovereign deity whom brought life to this hidden realm through HER children, the fae, entities inherently rich with a strong magic that has been passed down for generations

It is near impossible to reach Eleutheri alive when travelling from the surface and even harder to leave, as this place can only be gleamed though an opening into darkness itself. Humans who have found ourselves here are often victims of what they call terrible luck, falling into chasms, swallowed by a sinkhole, whirlpools and the like. Most don’t survive this process, their bodies being discovered already scavenged for anything worthwhile, but survivors are readily welcomed into the community! Human settlements can be found among all the territories for those wanting to pretend to be normal until the end of their human lives. Unless the magic rich environment has them start mutating into one of the fae, that is!

With a rekindling passion for a childhood dream, Lucien started to work on his world until reaching college, where he started to share his story on various social media platforms like YouTube and Wattpad, and through word of mouth. Continuing his self-improvement for himself, his craft, and the world he envisions, he started working with aspiring content creator Smiscee toward a world where fantasy meets harsh realistic morals. Tucked on an island north of the Netherlands, a long running institute welcomes those not quite like the rest. Tovenanij Institute of the Arcane Arts teaches and guides the young minds of the supernatural world. The Institute has been around for centuries, though the Headmaster refuses to share just how long it's been up and running.

The Institute facilitates four years of studies. It welcomes students from all continents starting at the age of 18 up until the age of 24. Depending on their chosen major, students are sorted into one of seven Houses: Arcanum, Nocturna, Astralis, Mythos, Sapientia, Veritas, and Caedes. Each house has its own specialty and intent, their values and virtues prominent in each member.

Tovenarij borders the town of Alenmont. The town is full of other beings: vampires, werewolves, witches, fae and so much more, allowing the students of the Institute to explore and socialize, and to exist like humans.
